Pause Aboriginal Title Negotiations While Cowichan vs Canada Appealed. In conjunction with @PharaBoard and @BCcattle the @BCConservCaucus is calling on government to take a pause here. This NDP keeps forging ahead in secrecy, without public awareness. Reconciliation is undoubtedly moving backward and the public is losing trust purely due to this government’s secretive agenda. The NDP owes British Columbians the courtesy of keeping them informed and leading with everyone’s best interest in mind. #bcpoli

My great grandmother would takes us traveling all summer to make sure we knew our family, they tore our family's apart, they separated the kids & forced them to catholic school. My grandmother told me, what she endured & you have no idea Mr. John. Ps my great great grandfather was Chief in BC, at one of reserves. I know my roots.

Well that's just absolutely ridiculous. The majority of FNs are resolving their title claims through the BC treaty commission, not through litigation. That is an orderly process, one that you can get information about on the treaty commission website. It is also one that avoids litigation and potential encumbrance of fee simple land
