A few days before the ceasefire was announced, a Zionist contacted me and told me to stop writing on Twitter. He threatened to kill me and my children if I didn’t.
But I didn’t stop — I kept writing. Two days later, he called again and said: “Be ready to die, you and your kids.”
That day, I truly felt fear for the first time. I didn’t go back to my tent, afraid of putting my family in danger. My wife Yara called me, asking,
“Where are you? Why are you late? Imad and Adam are asking for you.”
I didn’t know what to say… I was terrified to return, afraid that he might kill us all. I went to the sea, sat there in silence, waiting — maybe he would find and kill me alone.
When night fell, I returned to my tent and told Yara that I wanted to stop writing on Twitter. She looked at me and said softly but firmly:
“Don’t be afraid. We are with you. You’re not doing anything wrong — you’re just writing the truth we live.”
Her words gave me strength. I realized I was only writing about the pain and reality we endure every day in the war on Gaza.
For days, I lived waiting for death — but thank God, my wife Yara, my sons Imad and Adam, and I survived.
And I never stopped writing… and I never will ✌️

No corrections on this CNN story that is still published and being cited as credible journalism. No retractions from Jake Tapper on him laundering brazen lies and falsehoods, outright propaganda. Nothing. Why would he? He just got rewarded by being made the host of the first presidential debate later today. He only fails upward.
