Since I've lived my entire life as a Palestinian-American under Jewish supremacy, it's only recently dawned on me how oppressive this system is. A few data points: 1) most of my father's family is in the West Bank where they've lived for centuries, but I've only been able to visit once, in 1997, because Israel makes it too dangerous and difficult for us to travel there. But anyone from Russia or Brooklyn who claims Jewish ancestry can easily immigrate to the region and set up house and even take over my family's land (this happened); 2) I routinely have to hear people, including former friends & colleagues, call my family terrorists, subhuman, etc., and justify their murder, imprisonment, and other deprivations because they are Palestinian and those people can hold positions of high office in the United States, but if I criticize the State of Israel, my boss is bombarded with calls demanding I be fired because I am "antisemitic" and I am blacklisted in DC ; I am incessantly harassed and threatened by Betar Jewish supremacists and others, and law enforcement does nothing. The craziest part is I just accepted this, until recently, because I resigned myself to being inferior to Jewish Zionists. I won't anymore.
