Sishuwa Sishuwa is of the view it is this very government orchestrating these fires. Whatever the truth is, the political fallout on the Copperbelt is evident now. When I say people will be surprised by the numbers coming out of Lusaka and CB next year, folk think I am joking.

Copperbelt turned long before Lusaka. Those headlines about mining investments have not trickled down to ordinary people who lost their livelihood when the black mountains were taken away. Rule #1: don’t piss off the Jerabos. Still unclear who they will vote for to Plot 1

Totally. Was always going to be difficult for HH, though. And to be fair to him, the black mountain issue wasn't easy to resolve. Jerabos thrive from illegal mining. Asking them to formalize and pay proper taxes wasn't going to fly. On the other hand, enable constant carnage.

Throwing stones at the president is no ways a form of protest nor picketing. That is lawlessness and crinimal. A change in security protocals and detail. This should be condemned by all well meaning Zambians. Thise found wanting dealt with squarely.
