Yes, and some of us still remember how the 2015 budget was balanced with small surplus. By selling off federal assets and GM shares at a loss. It wouldn't have occurred without that.

They state it's the same level of deficit as Harper's 2010 budget, adjusted for inflation, but forget this $78.3 billion deficit is in CDN dollars worth 0.71 USD Harper’s deficit was in $$ worth 0.97 USD in a strong economy. Whose fault is it that ours is now play money?

Under Harper; The total number of consecutive deficits was six, from 2008-2014, before the final year of his government. The 2014-2015 deficit was projected to be around $2 billion, continuing the trend of budgetary shortfalls.
