Indigenous Veterans Day is tomorrow: Today, we honour the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of Indigenous veterans whose service was too often overlooked, yet whose contributions shaped the freedoms we cherish. For generations, Indigenous men and women stepped forward to defend Canada in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping. Many volunteered at extraordinary rates, travelled far from their communities, and served with distinction on the front lines of Europe, in Korea, and in missions around the world. Lest we forget.
