That’s a great Scripture indeed. There’s also much more to why God said that to the prophet Joel. God never makes any promises to every person of what we will receive or not receive in this life. He does promise if we repent of our sin & accept the atonement of what Jesus did on the Cross we’ll have eternal life & a relationship with Him. That’s the promise of the Gospel.
