Google has made an awesome proposal, subject to court approval, to open up Android in the US Epic v Google case and settle our disputes. It genuinely doubles down on Android's original vision as an open platform to streamline competing store installs globally, reduce service fees for developers on Google Play, and enable third-party in-app and web payments.
This is a comprehensive solution, which stands in contrast to Apple’s model of blocking all competing stores and leaving payments as the only vector for competition. The public filings are live.

If you're playing on PC make sure you're using the latest graphics drivers. The game was stuttering for me and then I realized I was on old drivers and the minute I uptated it became super smooth again.

It's the most unique season they have ever dropped. It's really fun to play, although it's pretty sweaty right now. I'll probably wait a few days until it settles down.
I love how smooth the game feels thanks to the cartoony map, and the gunplay is amazing. The Simpsons weapons and items are super fun, and it's packed with the story too. I'm really excited to see where it leads!

I can’t even begin to explain how much seeing @TheSimpsons inside @Fortnite means to me. The moment I saw Springfield in-game, the colors, the houses, the characters I grew up with, I felt this rush of emotion I didn’t expect. It wasn’t just excitement, it was joy, nostalgia, and a reminder of how far Fortnite has come over the years.
I’ve been around since the early days, through every twist, every experiment, every crazy moment this game has pulled off. And to now see The Simpsons, a show that defined generations, officially inside Fortnite… that’s not just a crossover. That’s a cultural milestone.
It’s wild to think about it, the same game that started as a small battle royale is now a full-blown entertainment universe, bringing together worlds we never thought would exist in one place. Seeing Springfield alive and explorable felt like stepping into my childhood again, only now it’s interactive, social, and shared with millions of players around the world.
That’s what makes this moment special. Fortnite isn’t just a game anymore, it’s a bridge between generations. It’s where nostalgia and innovation meet. Where fans of every age can come together and experience something familiar in a totally new way.
Standing there in Springfield, I just felt this wave of appreciation. For the devs, the artists, the storytellers, and especially @MarkRein and @TimSweeneyEpic and the @EpicGames team for never letting Fortnite stop evolving. You’ve turned what started as a dream project into the biggest creative platform in history.
I’m honestly so glad I never gave up on Fortnite. I’ve watched it transform, grow, break barriers, and now, quite literally, bring The Simpsons to life inside the Unreal world. It’s moments like these that remind me why I stuck around.
Seeing Homer, Bart, Marge, and Springfield itself rendered in that Fortnite style, it feels surreal, but it also feels right. Fortnite has earned its place as the center of pop culture. It’s no longer about what’s possible, it’s about what’s next.
So yeah… this one really hit home for me. Thank you @MarkRein and @TimSweeneyEpic for making something that continues to surprise, inspire, and connect us all. 💛
