5本足のテスト。巨大なヒトデのように地面を這って移動します。 #GameDev #UE5
It also contains a physics control rig to play with, so if you just want to download that and make some fun animations like this, that's great too!

For those that don't see it: 1. Fine tuners are on the other end of the instrument. 2. Pegs are always the same size. 3. Pegs are never circular, even if they're on the other side(!) 4. Pegs emerge on the other side, directly opposite where they go in, not offset...
Nice attention to detail in your latest newsletter @DeepLearningAI !!

Implementing motion imitation methods involves lots of nuisances. Not many codebases get all the details right. So, we're excited to release MimicKit! github.com/xbpeng/MimicKit A framework with high quality implementations of our methods: DeepMimic, AMP, ASE, ADD, and more to come!
Maybe if we all stopped calling it "AI assistant" and started calling it "Statistical data model with a natural language query interface" all the spam/slop/promotions/rubbish/UI intrusions would stop and get out of our faces?

Our good friend @DeanYurke is back once again with another Unreal Engine tutorial for filmmaking, this time on Ragdoll Physics 🤸 From slapstick splatting against solid surfaces to flip-flying through the air, this multi-method tutorial will show you how to manipulate existing physics assets or how to start from scratch with your own digital double. Check it out right now: piped.video/watch?v=ye0gjAx5…

🚀 I launched Viewport Realtime Idle Pause today Unreal Editor kept turning my PC into a space heater as I code or afk — multiple viewports rendering → FPS tanks → fans go insane → everything gets sluggish. So I built a plugin that pauses rendering when you’re idle and resumes the moment you interact. (check the video to see all its features🎥) #UnrealEngine #indiedev #gamedev #Unreal #UnrealEngine5 A thread. (1/4)

Trying something fun, calling them "spin transitions", which basically allow for seamless transitions between rotation modes. Not an original concept but also not common...though maybe soon that'll change :)
