As the weather begins to get chillier, why not escape to Tropical Beach, a sunny personal project from Technical Artist Nina Klos? The piece features glittery sea glass sands, a blend of technical art techniques and artistic principles, all done from scratch using Unreal Engine, Houdini, 3ds Max, Photoshop, ZBrush and Substance 3D Painter/Designer. "I used PCG to scatter, automatically remove overlaps and adjust the rotation of scattered sea shell meshes. I find the system incredibly useful for automatic generation!" - Nina Klos
