An interesting case out of Washington State, where a tattoo artist made a FOIA request on "Flock" public area surveillance camera footage.. The argument made is that these public area surveillance cameras (think license plate readers, or general CCTV coverage of public areas) is taxpayer funded, thus should be considered public records accessible to everyone under FOIA. Gov't tried to deny the request, asserting the ironic argument of "invasion of privacy" issues, but the judge over-ruled them..
