When a foreign president openly talks about launching attacks on your soil, it’s the clearest sign that your country has lost control of its own destiny. A failed state isn’t declared by the UN it’s revealed when others plan your defense, your wars, and your peace while your leaders stay silent. Nigeria has become too weak to defend its citizens, too divided to stand together, and too corrupt to command respect. This isn’t strength it’s national decay. 🇳🇬

The idea that America is coming to Nigeria to steal its resources is the most flawed argument I have ever seen. Infact Trump didn't say he is coming to Nigeria directly, he gave the Nigerian Government a choice, END TERRORISM OR I STEP IN. Why are we not channeling our energy towards asking our government to do what is suppose to be their primary assignment. Security of its people. Nigeria has been ruled by mediocrity for so long that we don't value electorates anymore. The United States of America is the highest donor to Nigeria both in terms of Humanitarian Aid and Military aid, you never saw anything wrong with that. The Nigerian Government had over 15 years to put an end to this insecurity but it has failed to do so. Do you know why this issue is of great interest to Donald Trump? Let me tell you why. Senator Ted Cruz is in the forefront of this agitation. Ted Cruz is a Senator from Texas and Texas (Houston particularly) has the highest population of Nigerians in the United States. Over 200,000 Nigerians stay in Texas. These are his constituents. Unlike Nigeria, this is a pressure no American Senator can withstand. Ted Cruz is also a Republican and a Senior Senator who has been in office since 2013 and can pull weight. He transferred the same pressure to Donald Trump and Trump is doing exactly what is expected of him. No one is coming to steal your resources. Nigeria GDP is not up to that of some States in America. The world is already trying to move beyond oil. This is not 2005. If America is putting an end to this terrorism, so be it. And if I trust one President that will do exactly that and leave. IT IS DONALD TRUMP.

So long as they have the real coordinates to neutralize those barbaric marauders & carnivorous blood thirsty beasts that calls themselves terrorists. Let them go ahead, smoke and wipe them out, wherever they are. I Don't care about their religious or political affiliation.

This is not help, it’s exploitation disguised as concern. You don’t bomb a nation to save it. Nigeria’s pain doesn’t give anyone the right to play hero on our soil. If America really cares, fix your own chaos before flying jets over ours.

Is he still talking about this? I just think Trump likes the attention. So once he notices that this is bringing a lot of engagement he will milk it to the end. He has always been a primetime person, always about the ratings. So I am not surprised he is milking this.

The US made it clear that if Nigerian government doesn't stop those killing innocent Nigerians that they will step in to confront those killing innocent Nigerians. They are not air striking our beloved country but those who kill innocent Nigerians

Nigeria has been a failed nation. Trump is just reminding us . He is not far from the truth. Those that is against Trump are those that milk Nigeria to their death. A country that doesn't obey their rule of law. A formal country. It's a pity.

He’s bluffing, he’s a joker and a cheap talker. Nigeria is a republican state and America does not have the right to carry out an attack against our country and if by chance that happens then he has declared a state of war between the two nations, he won’t…

So the US can plan air strikes in Nigeria while their own cities are plagued with mass shootings, an opioid crisis, and political chaos? Maybe they should use that military budget to fix their own country first. We don't need them turning our problems into their new war zone.
