1) The ad wasn't promoting white supremacy. It was a joke about Sydney Sweeney having "good genes" because she's attractive. 2) The people pretending to be mad about it don't genuinely believe it was promoting white supremacy. They're just trying to turn someone into their villain of the week so they can jump on the bandwagon of condemning them and virtue signal, like we've seen them do over and over for the past twenty years. 3) Since we all know that's what this is really about, Sydney Sweeney is doing the right thing by refusing to apologize. She knows that if she does, you people will see that as an admission of guilt, and then it will become like blood in the water. You don't want an apology. You want a windmill to tilt at. 4) Fuck off.
Sydney Sweeney refuses to disavow “joking about” White people’s “genetic superiority” in relation to Sweeney’s “Great Jeans” ad. Follow: @AFpost

Isn't "white people shouldn't joke about genetic superiority" an implicit admission that whites are genetically superior?

It's kind of wild that people could think it was all white people and not just SS. Does the interviewer think a fashion company views everyone as having "good genes" and not just beautiful people 😂

I'm agreeing with a lot of people I don't typically agree with on this one. We can be left leaning progressives without being too online wokescold content cops.

I love how she handled this. A heck of a lot going on there. Good luck Sydney.

“Posturing” is a key tenet of the left. You’re right, they don’t really believe nor care about “white supremacy” in this instance. They care more about looking like they do. Good on Sweeney for denying them a chance to prance on her.

The brilliance of her response is that it was a refusal to play the game at all. Trying to win the game with a snappy comment just adds another round to the clown show. "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes."

The ones upset are the same people who read a description of orcs being "Evil blood thirsty savages" and think "Wow, this is so offensive to black people"

the retards just want a white person to hate

The Jewish lady who came up with the ad knew she was being edgy. I think when Brooke Shields did the same in a much less anti-white culture, it didn't have that implicit "it's ok to be white" edge, but in 2025 it does, at least a little bit. It certainly was very clearly saying "it's ok to be pretty", which is nearly as edgy these days.

It's not even that she's refusing to apologize. She's refusing to even acknowledge that there was any issue at all.

There's no need to promote White supremacy when it's self evident and nobody comes even close.

I guarantee you the PR poster for AF Post is also someone that complains about a “lack of media literacy”

They're envious of that and hate that she caters to men. So now she's enemy #1.

maybe it’s because I grew up with blonde hair and have blue eyes that I know exactly what you mean when you say “good genes” but its also because It’s one of like the 4 things you learn about in high school about the nazis

Funny how they went from being outraged, to saying they were never outraged and "right-wingers" made up the supposed outrage, back to being outraged again.

Sydney Sweeney is really more intelligent than she seems. She is rather shrewd and motivated, and understands there is a lot of power in being an all-American bimbo.

Note the word games here. 1. "White people" is used to conflate an individual with a group. 2. "Good genes" get swapped for the loaded, comparative term "genetic superiority." Nobody compared Sydney to anyone else except for her critics telling on themselves.
