With her salary of approx. £200,000, expenses (£36,592.93+ claimed since 2024), generous donations, rental income, book advances, many media appearance fees, allowances and perks, Rachel has certainly been enjoying that first class ‘lifestyle’ that was once a concern for her employer in those far off days at HBOS.
On 9th July 2025 that Rachel voted for the Universal Credit/PIP cuts that will result in further hardship down the line for people who are disabled and vulnerable. Rachel also voted to scrap the
#WinterFuelPayment to pensioners 🥶 and voted to retain the two child benefit cap which ‘significantly contributes to child poverty’ in the U.K.
