The UK 🇬🇧 hosted an urgent briefing on El Fasher. We remain deeply concerned by the dire humanitarian situation and violations of IHL. Protection of civilians and humanitarian access is desperately needed. We call on the warring parties to take action. The world is watching.

#MiddleEast | The escalation of military operations in the centre of #Gaza City further worsens the unbearable humanitarian situation. Escalation is not the answer. #Switzerland calls for a #ceasefire, the release of all hostages, unimpeded humanitarian access, respect for international law and a credible path towards a two-State solution.
