Inside, they found large quantities of weapons, including approx. 20 explosive devices of various types, dozens of grenades, assorted firearms, and stolen humanitarian aid. The troops also uncovered an underground passage that connected several operational apartments used by Hamas terrorists.

🔴 ELIMINATED: Wael Mutrieh, a Hamas platoon commander, who infiltrated the Nahal Oz outpost bomb shelter during the Oct. 7 Massacre. Mutrieh was a Nukhba platoon commander in Hamas’ Shati Battalion in the Gaza City area, and took part in the October 7 Massacre, as well as planning & carrying out attacks against IDF troops throughout the war.

Shaldan commanded during the October 7th infiltration, launched incendiary balloons toward Israel, and took part in hostage release parades in Gaza City. Operating from humanitarian shelters, he conducted sniper fire, explosives, and anti-tank attacks, and led Hamas’ combat compound operations in Zeitoun.
