UPDATE: probably the final update in this series. Echo ate a sizable dinner (3cups) of boiled shredded chicken with white rice and tiny cheese cubes dinner last night. He kept it all down. In fact, he hasn’t puked since the vet gave him the anti-nausea medication on Thursday afternoon. This morning, he returned to his regular routine - of being where he’s supposed to be - waiting in line, behind Zero, to pee, etc. Once outside, he did his business and even tried to poop a little, but nothing came out so we’re still waiting for our first poop (since Tuesday morning) but of course he was completely empty and these things take time and we must be patient. I am confident he will get there at some point today. That was a team effort, pulling him back from the brink… twice. Once with a fever that almost killed him and then again, with an overdose of antibiotics that drained his digestive system from both sides. Somewhat fortunate that it perfectly coincided with my wife’s annual vacation. She got robbed this year. We spent our vacation time & money at the vets.
