We deserve a company that has a clear direction for the story that holds true to the originals, and doesn't try to nickel and dime us for cosmetics that should be locked behind milestones. Give us the mysterious atmosphere of a bygone alien civilization. Give us compelling characters that we can grow with. Give us enemies that have a clear goal, and are fun to fight against. We used to have these things 20-30 years ago. Kill off whatever is destroying modern gaming and bring some actual fucking life back.

Honestly, it feels like I'm the only one that's grateful that we're getting a CE remake. At least it gives me a reason to play the game again.
