Due to his criminal history and past claims he’d “get into a shootout before going back to jail,” SWAT and crisis negotiators were called in. Rodgers was believed to be hiding in the attic, but after several hours he fell through the ceiling and landed directly in the arms of SWAT officers, who took him into custody.
