We woke up to heartbreaking news. Human-Wildlife conflict has claimed a dedicated worker at Kariba District Hospital. Gloria Konde was trampled to death by an elephant this morning in Heights suburb. She was walking to church with her three children.
She was dragged, trampled & killed in plain sight of her children. Human Wildlife Conflict in Kariba has escalated into a deadly crisis. Our thoughts go to her family during this very difficult time.

Cricket at LA28 Olympics – Qualification Update
The ICC board meeting has revealed that five teams will qualify directly for the Men’s and Women's events at LA28 —one top-ranked side from each region.
Based on current ICC Men's T20I Rankings, it would be:
- 🇮🇳 India (Asia)
- 🇦🇺 Australia (Oceania)
- 🏴 England (Europe)
- 🇿🇦 South Africa (Africa)
- 🇺🇸 USA (Americas & Host)
A sixth team will be decided via an Olympics Qualifier. The format of the qualifier and the cut-off date for direct qualification yet to be announced.
New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and the West Indies (if they compete as a unified team) might feature in an "Olympics Qualifier" tournament to fill the sixth spot for the Men's event at LA28 Olympics.
