'Martine Croxall’s eye-roll spoke for a nation. Like the newsreader, the public is sick of the BBC’s deep-rooted, intractable bias over gender and the erasure of women' | ✍️ @VictoriaPeckham thetimes.com/comment/columni…
Martine Croxall’s eye-roll spoke for a nation. It is time for the BBC to follow its own impartiality rules. My ⁦@thetimes⁩ column. thetimes.com/article/e67bb3c…

Excellent by @andrewbillen about @KateClanchy1. I long ago gave up any hope that all the bullies and cowards who were given inexplicable free rein to destroy people's careers between, roughly, 2018-2023 would ever be held to account. But maybe I was wrong thetimes.com/life-style/cele…

Trevor Phillips nailing why the grooming gang inquiry must be laser-focused on a unique & industrial-level model of child sexual abuse.
“The government clearly never wanted these two things to be put together.” Labour has tried to play down the intersection of race and sexual predation because much of the grooming took place in Labour councils that did “nothing,” says @TrevorPTweets. @FiFiGlover | #TimesRadio

While we welcome that men can have their own events, THIS particular event does not appear to be that. Females are allowed to participate as long as they haven’t reached the age of 12. We ask: What is about the age of 12 that makes a female’s involvement in a public event unacceptable from that point? Coincidentally, there is also an age related cut-off for females being allowed to take part in public life in Afghanistan. But we are not Afghanistan. This is wrong, and it is discriminatory. dailymail.co.uk/news/article…

Last year I made a film about how the cruelty of sickness benefits: esp how alcoholics are offered cash, but no real help. Drink now kills 10,500/year Last month, one of my school friends became one of these figures. My reflections, after his funeral:- times-comment.com/pw2

Oh the irony. Big dude with a megaphone telling upwards of 2,000 women entering #FiLiA2025 what feminism is.

This is like an old person getting a tattoo to impress the kidz. Pathetic, unoriginal, self-destructive & ugly. Imagine if you’d come here for quiet prayer & reflection because you were bereaved.
Just when you think the Church of England couldn’t descend any further… Canterbury Cathedral is literally graffitiing itself and celebrating it as art
This Green MP believes the women organising an international feminist conference - where views which wholly align with UK law are being heard - provoked destruction and intimidation from trans activists. No condemnation just disgraceful victim blaming from @sianberry
Events that inflame division and create tension should be guarded against and @BrightonHoveCC needs better policies for which events it will host in our council-owned venues. The choice of Brighton was clearly provocative from organisers and the problems caused predictable.

“Paint washes off, blood never does”. This is a serious threat to the women at @FiLiA_charity. I expect @sussex_police and the government Prevent programme to act upon this.

This is what the delightfully named Bash Back @TransBashBack are trying to shut down. Women from Afghanistan & Iran, lesbians, migrant women, meetings about eg porn culture & male violence. I hope local MPs @sianberry, @chriswardmp & @peterkyle will address this hate crime.
Filia begins 💪🏽@FiLiA_charity
The gender wars is never “both sides are as bad as each other”. Trans activists are violent, intimidating, intolerant and destructive. This is what they do at a major international feminist conference.
Trans activists have smashed one of the large front windows of the Brighton Centre - the venue where 2500 feminists are meeting this weekend to talk about male violence, misogyny and the like. Why can't EVERYONE see this movement for what it is?

“Since the readmission of the Jews to England in the 1650s (thank you Oliver Cromwell) until 1960 (when a Jewish student was killed by fascists), not a single Jew was killed in our country for being a Jew. This is unique in all Europe and the Americas.” thetimes.com/comment/columni…
