China MOFCOM issued a policy (2025 #72) today to allow export of gallium, germanium, alimony and superhard materials to US for dual use, but their use for military users and purposes continue to be banned
This policy suspend the implementation of second item on the export control to US listed on policy 2024 #46 for 1 year
In 2024 #46 policy, it stated
I. Prohibit the export of dual-use items to U.S. military users or military purposes.
II. In principle, dual-use items related to galium, germium, antimony and superhard materials shall not be allowed to be exported to the United States; dual-use items related to graphite shall be exported to the United States, and stricter end-user and end-use examination shall be implemented.
