Happy 10th birthday, Windows 10! 🥳 Windows 10 was launched on July 29, 2015. Now, as it turns 10, Windows 10 is still remembered as one of Microsoft's most stable and loved operating systems. It brought back the Start menu, improved speed, and worked well on both old and new PCs. It was a big upgrade from Windows 8 and became the default choice for many users around the world. Even today, millions still use it. Windows 10 support officially ends on October 14, 2025, but it can be extended until October 2026.

Wow time flies. I lead the team that brought the battery saver ux to the new settings app (a surprising pita). We also created the system initiated user feedback feature which had some super cool new ideas. I think my user was #9 in the feedback database :) Great memories. I really miss that old team!!

Hahahahaha stable????, literally people hated Windows 10 just like 11 as they do now, I remember pure computers with 10 that besides having more BSODs than Vista, super slow...Windows 10 only became good thanks to 2004, which was down there, well... Pure garbage

Hmm... Stable and loved? Eh? sorry to ruin your "illusion" but only "stable and loved" was WinXP and Windows7. 🙂 Many PCs still not have chipset drivers for 10 and MS already drop 10 it as main OS. My experience is very bloated and slow OS 🫤

Windows 10 fucking sucked as the feature versions were so different Some people were on the older or the newer

A very good OS that didn't deserve the hate IMO. After 8.1, 10 was a very good, stable OS for me at least, I never had any issues.

hated less than windows 8. which was not a competition
