This year’s Sol Foundation Symposium begins tomorrow—and it’s available to stream for those unable to attend in Italy (sign up at the link below). For those new to it, our symposium brings together leading voices from government, academia, civil society, and the private sector to share insights and reflections on UAP, science, and disclosure. This year’s program features trusted voices such as Garry Nolan, Jacques Vallée, Tim Gallaudet, Beatriz Villarroel, Diana Pasulka, Karl Nell, Peter Skafish, and Anna Brady-Estevez, along with international experts less known in the U.S.— including Luc Dini and General Pierre Bescond (an author of the COMETA Report), Michael Valliant, renowned Italian investigator Roberto Pinotti, and physicist Karl Svozil, of the Technical University of Vienna. To stream, join us here: thesolfoundation.org/2025-so…
A new Sol Forum conversation with @DrBeaVillarroel is out today, and she’s joined by our own Dr. Garry Nolan and host Dr. Peter Skafish. Sol wants to congratulate Dr. Villarroel, who is a member of Sol's advisory board, on the publication of her newly published breakthrough papers, which find statistically significant correlations between short-lived transient objects on pre-Sputnik astronomical plates, UAP sightings, and above-ground nuclear tests. These could be some of the most important public scientific findings on UAP in decades, and we can’t be more excited about this conversation with Beatriz! Watch it here: piped.video/rs1XRf21m7o

Sol is excited to announce that we'll be screening Bram Roza's documentary The UFOs of Soesterberg at our 2025 symposium in Italy. Roza's film focuses on a February 3, 1979 incident at the Netherland's Soesterberg Air Base, when at least twelve soldiers witnessed a gigantic triangular object silently flying over the base, illuminating the runway before shooting into the sky. The UFOs of Soesterberg revisits this remarkable Cold War incident and also uncovers three additional, related UAP encounters—all in military space, all within two miles of the base. Bram Roza will be in attendance to field audience questions about these remarkable and important Dutch UAP events. To speak with him, register for Sol's symposium at thesolfoundation.org/event/t… And for more information on the meeting, visit our website at thesolfoundation.org/event/t…

The Sol Forum’s most recent episode features Peter Skafish in conversation with an extraordinary lineup of guests, including Jeffrey Nuccetelli, a former U.S. Air Force Security Forces, who discusses his recent testimony before Congress about the extraordinary UAP incidents that he witnessed while on duty at Vandenberg Space Force Base; and Chaz King, a former Technical Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Security Forces who was directly involved in one of the events described in Nuccetelli’s testimony. They are joined by none other than Leslie Kean, investigative journalist and the author of UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go On the Record and coauthor of groundbreaking pieces on UAP published by The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and The Debrief. We are delighted to welcome back Dr. Iya Whiteley as a featured speaker at the 2025 Sol Foundation Symposium. Building on her influential 2023 presentation "On Trusting and Learning from Pilots," Dr. Whiteley returns with new insights into the human transformations brought about by UAP encounters. As former Director of the Centre for Space Medicine at University College London, Dr. Whiteley brings a unique 25-year background in space and aviation psychology, cognitive engineering, and clinical psychology. Her expertise spans work with astronauts, pilots, and professionals processing extraordinary events in extreme environments: from space missions to high-stakes surgical procedures to anomalous encounters. Dr. Whiteley's applied work bridges the gap between extraordinary experience and its articulation in language. In her 2023 Sol presentation, Dr. Whiteley discussed profound encounters that remain under-reported because people lack the language to describe them. Her current methodology represents the natural evolution of that work: breathwork protocols that help individuals move from confusion and isolation to clarity, integration, and articulation, when they are ready to share their experiences. Her symposium presentation will address both theoretical foundations and practical approaches for supporting the growing population of UAP experiencers and the brave therapists who work with them despite professional stigma. The Sol Foundation is proud to announce that University of Durham professor of jurisprudence Michael Bohlander will be speaking at our 2025 symposium, which is taking place October 25-27 in Baveno, Italy. Professor Bohlander has been the International Co-Investigating Judge in the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia since 2015. From 2017 until 2022, he was also an international judge of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers. He joined Durham University in 2004 as a full professor, having previously been a life-tenured member of the German judiciary since 1991. He has published widely on German law, English and Welsh criminal law, comparative and international criminal law, and Islamic law. Since 2020, Professor Bohlander's main research focus has been on the consequences of a potential contact with extraterrestrial intelligence for human law and society in the wider sense. He will speak at our symposium on this subject as it pertains to current government acknowledgements of and scientific research on UAP To register for Sol's symposium, go to thesolfoundation.org/event/t… For more information on the meeting, visit our website at thesolfoundation.org/event/t…

Sol wishes to thank @RepLuna, @RepEricBurlison, @RepTimBurchett, and @RepMoskowitz , and the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee for yesterday’s pathbreaking UAP hearing. The public was exposed in the hearing to an abundance of information crucial to understanding why the US Congress and other national legislatures continue to inquire into UAP. Several military personnel provided first-hand testimony about UAP that are unlikely to be attributable to human technology, including a large, square-shaped object that appeared over Vandenberg Air Force Base in the 2000s during sensitive missile defense tests; a geospatial intelligence analyst who filed an IC IG whistleblower complaint about US government UAP secrecy shared with the committee information about the retaliation he has faced since doing so; and veteran UAP journalist @g_knapp provided testimony on Soviet and post-Soviet Russian government UAP study and reverse engineering efforts. This testimony underscores the need for passage of legislation establishing governance and oversight of UAP affairs in the legislative branch. The UAP Disclosure Act, sponsored in the Senate by @SenSchumer and @SenatorRounds, remains the most important such proposed legislation, but its passage is by no means guaranteed. Show your support by signing Sol's and other organization's petition in support of it, at thesolfoundation.org/2025-pe…
