Witchcraft, particularly Necromancy, is on the rise. It can look overt like visiting a Medium. It can also look innocent like simply talking to a deceased loved one. But it is prohibited in Scripture and there are no exceptions. I am deeply concerned about this because the enemy knows how to take advantage of people who are in a ton of pain. It's also very difficult to confront someone about this when they are grieving. It's his perfect opportunity to pounce.
what a surprise. brett cooper and her mom engage in witchcraft. she’s not a conservative. idc how hard people wanna gaslight me about it

To my understanding and to be fair to Brett, she only recently became Catholic

I think that's right... and I'm praying for her! I'm just concerned because she has a lot of influence, especially among young women.

Just wait until it takes a tech turn too. I was watching a video about an AI company that "allows grieving people to see and speak to their deceased loved ones again" through generated images and sounds.

How do you respond to Erika Kirk asking Charlie for wisdom? At which point in time do we stop cutting grieving people slack? Is it immediately or do years need to pass?

I think that the strength, grit, vulnerability, faith, and grace she has shown has been absolutely beautiful and admirable. With that said, it is concerning because this type of thing always finds a way in through grief. I am praying for her.

This video was several months ago. We don't know if Brett ever followed through on it. She may be verging on the edge of Candace/Carlson-ism & she needs reasonable responses to draw her back, not an M.O. attack. Alisa, if you can contact her, please do so.

It's not my intent to attack her. She has some really great videos! I'm just concerned about this because she has a lot of influence.

Right or wrong, her mom acted out of grief. I don’t see Brett approving it, just listing it as something her mom did. Maybe I missed something.

She said she wants to go see a Medium also...

They’re not really talking to deceased love ones. I used to go to mediums before I was saved. I was heavily into the occult. These are demons disguised as deceased loved ones. It’s very, very dangerous and deceptive.

Yes exactly! I just posted a video explaining that if you want to check it out...

Brett grew up with a single mother navigating the chaos world of Hollywood. If she came out of that as an evangelical Christian, it would be an extraordinary miracle. I don't know where she is at religiously now, but this kind of thing doesn't surprise me at all. I'm not defending it, but it's a mistake to assume that all conservative media personalities are Christians.

I wasn't assuming that...just noting that she has a lot of influence among young women, and particularly conservative ones, many of which happen to be Christian. I have actually appreciated a lot of her videos and recognize that in many ways, she is a good role model for young women. That's why this is particularly concerning to me.

Necromancy has been prevalent in Romanism for a while too

Right. Before I heard her speak I observed her countenance and immediately saw the evil surrounding her. The eyes are the window to the soul. Her eyes are black.

I always considered myself Christian, but I would get readings. I would give readings. I had tarot cards I went to mediums. I would talk to dead people. I’ve seen dead people I’ve seen ghosts. I did ghost hunting in New York City for a long time and would tell you I was still Christian And God convicted me and really opened my eyes the last two years. The deception is real, and it is very subtle and so many people in my experience (mostly women) are falling for it.

It’s actually demons mimicking the dead. The know scripture. They watched you your whole life and know who your loved ones are, what they looked like, what they sound like. So a Medium does speak to something- it’s just not what they think it is.

Wait, is Brett the dude or the girl in that video? I’ve never even heard of Brett Cooper is that person supposed to be famous or something?

Define "talking to a dead loved one." Like using a medium to have a conversation, yes I'd agree. Saying something and hoping God allows them to hear it, no, that would not be necromancy.

You are disgusting. She's talking about her mom grieving so much because of her sons. She had twins. One died from a heart attack. The other twin couldn't deal with the loss and literally lost his mind, being institutionalized. In search for answers after suffering the most horrible loss a mother can ever suffer, she went to a medium. Should she have done so? No. But can we all understand her because of her loss? I think we can.

Why do Catholics tend to fall into this stuff more than your average Protestant Christian?

I've never had this particular problem. I have done my time as an atheist, and through His Grace become a believer again. But I have never engaged in this kind of occult magical woo woo stuff. I want no part of it even if I don't believe in most of it. And I believe most of it is just foolishness. The part that isn't, however, is darker than anything you could imagine. It is so dark and so evil that to even brush against it is corrosive to the soul. One risks permanent contamination by even looking at it. The only thing to be done is to rebuke it and to burn it to ashes.

Being conservative and being Christian are not mutually exclusive. I am a follower of Jesus Christ and I'm also a conservative. But you don't have to be Christian to be conservative. I think it's ridiculous for you to accuse her of not being a conservative because she doesn't meet your standards or preconceived notions.

God has ways of understanding that shows a universal language. Mathematics like Fibonacci sequence stuff that God put there. These teachings are ok. I did not watch the video but the medium is a no. If God has some sort of message that is different. And he does and we have these teachings and have been lied to about it. Therefore the Catholics work through pagan ways. They do not seem to discourage it and every service with idols and statues and if they read their bibles they would be Protestant like me. Hebrews and Early church did have a numerical system that does appear to me something from God to people. That is encoded in your family line or resonance. This is different. God Code

This is what happens when we don't stand firm against Rome and the Orthodox Church. They aren't Christian Churches.
Replying to @alisa_childers
They are not talking to their loved ones but demons pretending to be them.
