If I can do it, so can you! I'm a total noob with hardware & yet the @FrameworkPuter desktop instructions via qr code made install a piece of cake. Took 20 minutes from opening box to finished.

Absolutely will. I am getting quick set up with Ubuntu but going to try booting with different OS like Omarchy & a few others to find the sweet spot.

Have fun with it, they are super cool! Wish I could afford one. Can't wait till I get a laptop from framework. Saw some third party expansions. Some people from a uni made a raspberry pi that you can plug in!

waiting for 256GB model, or for DDR5 DIMM model so i can go to 1TB of RAM, sure i know the bandwidth will be cut by like 40% but its 1TB of RAM it can fit basically every publicly available model on a single machine

They sent a desktop?! Winning!
Always blown away at the size of these things when pictured with humans. They're bringing small form factor to the masses!
That’s clean work. Framework’s building what every OEM forgot machines you can understand and repair without summoning a demon from customer support. Respect for actually doing it yourself most “noobs” stop at unboxing.
Weird question: is it heavy?
No one: what an awesome book cover, man!
