America cannot loose the robotics race with China. We're behind and the implications are far greater than previous races like solar & telecom/5g. We must prioritize national policy and investment to support US robotics end to end 🦾

I'm happy to announce the launch of the Healthcare Agent Orchestrator, a project I led at Microsoft with an incredible team! Watch @satyanadella's keynote presentation highlight our incredible collaboration with @StanfordHealth.
Stanford Medicine is orchestrating multiple agents to connect medical data, clinical trials, and more - all with the goal of delivering more effective cancer care. Incredible to see in action.

I’m doing research on neuromorphic computing, and I'd greatly appreciate introductions to researchers, fellows, or startups working in this space. #Robotics
It currently takes 18-30 months to design and fab a new chip. @JeffDean sees this shrinking to 3-6 months. And automating design feeds into a recursive loop of improvement: the chips you're designing new chips on can search more and find better designs, which can search more...
Humanity needs more places like Esalen.
☀️Excited to share our new paper! Generative AI agents are powerful but complex—how do we design them for transparency and human control? 🤖✨ At the heart of this challenge is establishing common ground, a concept from human communication. Our new paper identifies 12 key challenges in improving common ground between humans and AI agents. 1/
Let’s build from here! Thanks to the entire @SnowflakeDB team for inviting me to talk about the impact of Copilots on the developer workflows.
Bringing together our Builders is one of the best moments of the year. We had thousands of you tune in from around the world to share some incredible stories and best practices at #SnowflakeBUILD this week. Thank you to @AndrewYNg for sharing how agentic AI is expanding our capabilities and leveling up what we can build, and to our many customer and partner speakers. If you take away one thing: Building has never been more important - we’re creating the future together as we navigate the transformative power of data and AI. See you next year! ❄

Spent an entire hour today walking outside, talking to ChatGPT in Advanced Voice Mode about an essay I want to write. We went through all the fuzzy ideas in my head, clarified and organized them, explored some additional talking points, and eventually pulled everything together into a first outline and draft. This wasn't just a one-sided "hey, can you write a few paragraphs about x" prompt. It felt like a genuine, in-depth conversation and exchange of ideas with a true thought partner. Absolutely incredible. One of those rare, magical moments where software makes you feel like you’re living in the future.

Great engineering teams do the boring things well: - Internal docs - Code organization - Bugs & testing - Local env - Deployment - Team coordination Hard to do well, but when you do, it's so much faster and more fun to build!
