The zero-sum mindset you have is at the root of so much evil. Once you realize that civilization is not zero-sum and that it is about making far more than one consumes, then it becomes obvious that the path to prosperity for all is just let the makers make.
Regarding Tesla, the reality is that I have been given nothing.
However, if I lead Tesla to become the most valuable company in the world by far and it stays that way for 5 years, shareholders voted to award me 12% of what is built. Anyone who wants to come along for the ride can buy Tesla stock.
If Tesla “merely” becomes a $1.999 trillion dollar company, I get nothing. This is a great deal for shareholders, which is why they voted so overwhelmingly to approve this, for which I am immensely grateful.
And they did so by a margin far more than you won your political seat.

a German court has ordered @Uber not to offer rides anymore because "the app violates the Passenger Transportation Act by arranging the rides directly with the drivers. The law stipulates that this may only be done through the central office of the car rental company."
- quietly wondering what the courts will decide once there are no drivers, but then again, that day is about a century away in Germany, so who cares, I guess 🫥

"Der Taxiruf will....bei jedem einzelnen Verstoß eine Bestrafung von bis zu 250.000 Euro oder sechs Monaten Haft für das Management von Uber und des Mietwagenbetreibers einfordern. Uber Kunden können die App aber bisher weiter nutzen."

Eine immer noch nicht Level 4 fähige Selbstfahrsoftware für Autos, die schon für 2016 versprochen wurde.
Warum dauert das so lange und wieso wurden die Versprechen nicht gehalten? 1/10🧵
Ein weiteres Beispiel dafür, wie Teslas FSD ignoriert wird.
In dem Video „Die Wahrheit über autonomes Fahren“ wird kein Wort über FSD verloren.
Die Fähigkeiten des „Level 4“-Systems des IM6 liegen hinter denen der aktuellen FSD-Version 14.
Zudem ist Teslas Ansatz deutlich kostengünstiger und für jeden in den USA, Kanada, Mexiko und Australien verfügbar und nutzbar.
Also @Daniel_Abt warum nicht erwähnen?
Kommt es nur mir so vor, oder herrscht ein dröhnendes Schweigen bei den großen deutschen und internationalen Tech- und Auto-Influencern, wenn es um @Tesla FSD geht?
Man könnte fast meinen, sie wollen gar nicht darüber berichten, geschweige denn es testen.
Oder dürfen sie etwa nicht?
Wo bleibt die Kritik dieser Leute darüber, dass offenbar aktiv von regulatorischer Seite verhindert wird, diese Produkte in Europa zuzulassen?

if you do not recognize Jared as the best possible GLOBAL choice for an administrator of NASA, you simply have brain damage.
In history of mankind, there probably has never been a clearer choice of whom should be appointed to a certain position in Government.
The guy has been running a company so successful that he's become a billionaire, he's a fighter jet pilot, he's done a space walk, been to space multiple times and obviously has great communication and human interaction skills.
Like there is NOTHING more you can ask of ANYONE to be a good fit to lead the worlds best space agency. Like this is a decision of 10 seconds. Just FRICKIN do it.
Lol. SpaceX puts 90% of Earth's payload mass into orbit and operates twice as many satellites as the rest of the world combined. They catch flying skyscrapers from space with giant mechanical chopsticks, and have landed 500 reusable rockets while no other company has landed even a single one. If not for them, China would be dominating the US in space launch.
But sure, you're replacing them with Blue Origin who has launched a single rocket to orbit, just so you can put 2 men on the Moon to duplicate 1969's effort? Pathetic.
Such low ambition. Time for SpaceX to cut you loose, rather than the other way around. Elon won't forget.

Habe letzte Woche einen Mercedes-Verkäufer gefragt, in welchem Auto ich denn jetzt deren Level 3 System haben kann, das überall beworben wird, weil ichs im Konfigurator in keinem der dämlich unübersichtlichen "Pakete" gefunden habe.
Antwort: gibts aktuell noch in keinem Mercedes, keine Ahnung wann es kommt, keine Ahnung, was es kostet. Technologie sei noch nicht reif, man müsse noch viel zu oft das Steuer übernehmen, so dass Testfahrer eher frustriert als entlastet waren.
Also bis dato immer noch nichts als Vaporware. Und wenns erhältlich wäre, wärs scheisse.

There are some insane moments in this 46-minute condensed video that blew both of our minds.
Honestly shocking that Tesla is waiting for 14.2 to push wide, because this drive on Mad Max already felt incredible.
