Well, well, only if you are confident that you are as good as Dr. Hipp. Are you? And even if you are, then well, isn't it a waste of precious resources to write in C/Tcl when you can write in Rust/Haskell?

Build times, ease of deployment and design flexibility are as important to me as safety so not necessarily.

It's impressive piece of software. But they also have 600 times more test code than the actual library code. That probably has a lot to do with it.
