$NVO back at August lows and the real bear case hasn’t even happened yet. Here’s some news: A dead cat bounce isn’t a turnaround. A turnaround is a turnaround. If this business ever does better, we will see it. Why not just buy businesses that are doing better, not worse?

It was filled and then the stock went back down again.

Just a reminder that non-type 2 diabetic US obese population is +85 million people (and growing) and currently around 5 million are in treatment

Yes. So it’s wild that their earnings expectations have collapsed, no? Or, what if the US government decides that these drug prices need to go much lower to address the 80 million who can’t afford them? Not saying it will happen, but it’s a risk. A real one.

A “Most Favoured Nation” pricing rule enforcement. Stock would basically be down 60-70%+ in one day, because their US revenue (and profit!) would collapse.

It reminds me so much about $pfe Also broken Terrible management. Yet people say it's amazing because of the dividend and where it has been a trillion years ago

Sure, although every business case is unique. What’s funny about this case is that everybody’s delusionally envisaging a turnaround when there are is not a single sign that there is a turnaround…

In terms of a dead cat bounce or a further leg down? $UNH is a very different story, with different levers. At least in that case, their EPS outlook has stopped collapsing, so you could say it’s further up on the curve. For now anyway.

love your stuff generally but c'mon man do a bit of research here if you're gonna fearmonger. they're announcing a pricing deal along with Lilly tomorrow with Trump in exchange for Medicare covering their drugs.

I’m willing to change my mind when something positive happens, that’s how I always done it, no? New facts change my mind. I just haven’t seen anything positive here yet. When something positive happens, there will be lots of upside, like always. But before that stocks really don’t have a bottom…

It's trading at 12 p/e. It's undervalued by any metrics let's be honest.

The E keeps going lower. That’s the issue. What is the E bottom?

Agreed! $NVO has tried multiple times to turnaround but every time it gets shoved back down. In September it tried again but the same thing happened. You can only keep hoping for so long.

This pullback might just be laying the groundwork for a healthier long-term trend. As long as the core business stays intact, the market will come around.

Because the business is getting better still, but slower. Was way overvalued, now priced very fairly with a PE of 12, divi of 3,5%. I consider this to be a fair risk-reward. GLTA.

Because the company isn't doing bad in the grand scheme of things. If seems you are looking to ride the bullish waves once they come in your face. We are buying before the wave begins. We early birds want the worm.
