Just posting my things on @ProductHunt for the sake of it, with minimal effort and preparation as I have no expectations from it. But then immediately I get DMs and emails from people like this selling upvotes and positive reviews. I wonder if the PH team has or will ever do something about making their platform credible and not a playground for growth scammers.

Those who post about political stuff with lots of name-calling and label-throwing without any essence are the ones to not engage with and not to take seriously. That's just a different level of politics. Certainly no one changes their mind or reflects on anything from things that come out of it.
You see this on twitter all the time. Everyone is so damn mean. Lots of big political posters want to institute purity tests and laugh at the misfortune of people who might be better off if they agreed, instead of trying to help them towards differing opinions, etc.
