I need a new desk 😁. For fun, but I'm probably building one of the biggest and most complex breadboard computer. There's still a lot of work to do, but I'm getting there, last week I added the stack pointer, this will allow this computer to perform functions.
Congratulations to Onur Mutlu on receiving the IEEE Computer Society 2025 Harry H. Goode Memorial Award for “seminal contributions to computer architecture research and practice, especially in memory systems“.

"Hello World, I am ARM"
39 years ago today, the first Arm microprocessor introduced itself. We've since enabled advanced, efficient computing in 280+ billion chips, with the patents to prove it.
These foundations make us the AI platform the world relies on, today & in the future.
In 2022, while recovering from COVID-19 in the hospital, I found myself bored and decided to craft an interpreter for Pascal solely using x86 assembly without any external library. I didn't finish it yet but, feel free to take a look:

Assembly is helpful to understand what the compiler is doing. But don't expect it to teach you what the computer is doing. Assembly today is a very high level language compared to the Microcode. For me, programming is the art of instructing Transistor how to dissipate power.

Some of the most innovative things are indeed happening on European soil, yet the individuals driving these advancements come from diverse backgrounds, not solely from Europe.
Ready to pedal into my new role at @Arm ! 🚴♂️ Exploring the city's bike lanes – the best way to commute to work! Excited to contribute my passion for building GPUs to the team. Let's ride towards success together! #NewBeginnings#TeamWork"
I've accepted the Modeling Engineer role and am thrilled to be working on the Shader cores of Arm's upcoming GPUs. I'm happy and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an impactful project. 1/2
Excited to announce that I'll be joining @Arm as a GPU Modeling Engineer in Sweden. Following successful interviews for different positions, I'm grateful to have received two job offers from Arm: as a Software Performance Engineer and the other as a Modeling Engineer (GPUs). 1/2
Our PhD student, @FirtinaC, will give several talks this week (Jan 15 - Jan 19) in Munich. Feel free to join his talks and meet with him if you are around! Here are the details of his talks:
