The Supreme Court may be India’s highest judicial body, but before the Supreme God — Lord Vishnu, the eternal protector of Dharma — every human court is insignificant. Judges, laws and institutions are man-made and bound by time, but divine justice is eternal and infallible. No robe or title can override the cosmic law of karma that Lord Vishnu upholds. If the same tone or remarks had been used about any other religion, there would have been instant outrage and protests, yet when it is about Hindus and their deities there is silence. We must remember, however, that the ultimate judgment does not come from any courtroom but from the Supreme Lord Himself. True justice rests not in human hands but in His.
