The iPhone 17 series might be the first time you’re better off NOT using a screen protector.
The front Ceramic Shield 2 is so strong and scratch resistant that putting a screen protector over it will only lead to a scratched up and cracked glass surface that would otherwise have been fine.
Also, screen protectors ruin the new anti-reflective coating, meaning brightness will be reduced substantially.
I've been thinking about selling my iPhone 16 Pro (256GB) and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (1TB) through a secondhand transaction since I rarely use them lately, and buying an iPhone 17 Pro Max (1TB) instead. What do you think?

Someone already made a transparent iPhone Air mod and it looks insane.
One thing we don’t appreciate enough is how Apple is one of the only companies to make custom-shaped batteries. The iPhone Air simply wouldn’t be possible without it.
