✨The secret sauce
It keeps evolving and changing. It sounds almost trivial and magically transformative at the same time.
This so called secret sauce becomes a cultural effect that people find it as a hack or a solution for lot of things or a secret sauce that could somehow dramatically change lot of things all of a sudden - it is reflected in products, brands and the works of individuals or teams. Likewise, the two main secret sauces that I have seen so far:
1. Passion
It was everywhere once - but it actually became a thing around the period of Steve Jobs. And hence attached to brands and products from Apple and those who had shared or aspired for similar vibes.
2. Agency(and taste)
Associated with “you can just do things”. This is the current secret sauce. It’s the reflection of the mindset, energy and momentum of what people are aspiring for right now. It’s in videos, demos, blogposts, tweets, etc.,
It carries the idea of why people need a God - something that sounds simple and magical that they can attach themselves to or seek in everything they do; which they believe that it could give them access to superpowers.
