Reading the replies from all of these angry farmers today actually is extremely enlightening. Overall almost none of them are capable of basic reading comprehension. Somehow the simple expression “airdrop farmers are a bad foundation for community” (which is objectively true in 2025) spawned a million side arguments and strawmen about myself, monad, random other projects, Kaito, and loads of other irrelevant shit. Blessed with our counterparties

we are constantly bleeding ecosystems from growing by taking free capital from them for participating and instantly dumping / rotating our attention this false signal we give team because of financial incetives creates a negative feedback loop where ponzis survive propping up bad teams while legitimate ideas dont get any attention

Most projects try to inflate their numbers by opening testnets and airdrops to everyone, but when it’s over… they either pay crumbs or make 99% ineligible hahaha.

KOLs who receive every airdrop, every allocation gaslight community, which spent time and money on project and received nothing, calling them “airdrop farmers”. "Airdrop culture is toxic coz farmers spend time and money on projects only to profit from it, ohhhh this is so toxic." "Everyone is angry coz they didn't get an airdrop or allocation after spending gazillions on fees that went into founders pockets. Airdrop farmers are Poison! (I got 5fig airdrop for few tweets btw)"

Groks “politically incorrect” take on how you built your account using farming and airdrops is genuinely pretty funny. (I never ask for that kind of answer it just added it for the first time today 😂)

> airdrops shouldn’t happen on day 1 > airdrops shouldn’t be distributed in one day > airdrops shouldn’t be "vested" > airdrops shouldn’t be given to people who don’t give a fuck complete garbage of a culture

If an expected airdrop is the reason the community is buzzing, then you need to build something solid

and then never talk about these projects after those campaigns or tge.

Airdrops worked well in 2020-21 when everyone still believed in DAOs as nimble cyberorgs. Tokens went mostly to the alligned players. Very quickly DAOs turned into an online implementation of byzantine beaurocracy while farming airdrops became purely opportunistic

Thought Airdrop farmers are the absolute worst, why do you care about the culture?

I don't know why airdrop is made the target, when the initial selling point of the games or projects is airdrop and not functionality. Maybe messaging needs to be changed. My true take
