EXCLUSIVE ALLEGED DISCRIMINATORY HIRING PRACTICES AT COCA-COLA AGAINST WHITE PEOPLE An individual named "David" sent in a job application to @CocaCola, citing 20 YEARS of experience in the industry. His application was REJECTED the next day. He then sent in another application, just changing his name to "DeShawn,” and reduced his work experience to only 5 years. His application under "DeShawn" was ACCEPTED, and he was given an opportunity to do an interview. We reached out to Coca-Cola who responded with “the accusation is untrue as the fake applicants’ qualifications were otherwise not identical.” This only makes it worse and confirms what we know. The fake applicant with the black name had LESS experience than the real applicant yet was offered an interview. This must be investigated. How many other white people were discriminated against by Coca Cola?? @HarmeetKDhillon @AAGDhillon

Coke hates white people
This was from Coke’s diversity training. They instructed employees to “be less white” Seems @CocaCola still has a major anti-white racism problem.
Is Coca-cola still trying to “be less white?” 🤔

Antiwhiteism is an epidemic in America and it started to get really bad under Barack Obama.

Problem with this "test" is that two variables were changed. Why was it just deshawn with 20 years experience? Someone fishy here.

What role was 'David' applying for? Can we see the job ad? I found this one online. The job requires 1+ years of experience and knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years work experience. Same company, job title, and location, so I have to assume that the role in question also had the same requirements. David had 20. DeShawn had 5. David is significantly overqualified, and it makes sense he wasn't invited. Also, black people are named David.

This can be pretty easily explained. Why did this test require changing the experience? Now you have two variables to account for. What if CocaCola sees more success for employees who join Coca-Cola with less than 8 years of experience? What if 20 years of experience at a competitor is correlated with a resistance to change and employees who leave after 6 months? If you’d just changed the name, you’d know. But they didn’t and we don’t.

Isn’t DEI just racism against white people? Tell me if I’m wrong

This isn't just Coca-Cola, D&I (eventually becoming DEI) has been pushed from the top down into every major US company via wealth management companies (State Streat, BlackRock, Vanguard, ..) to increase ESG scores. These programs push for increases in women and minorities. Since direct quotas are illegal, they've developed a plethora of techniques to achieve this that are not as overtly illegal. For instance: -They hide openings from white male candidates. -They inform recruiters of their goals thereby pushing the discrimination to external actors. -They recirculate failed female/minority candidates internally for multiple interviews until they get hired while dropping white male candidates at their first rejection. -They pressure hiring managers by requiring they rigorously defend their rejection of any female/minority candidates while letting the rejection of white male candidates go unexamined. These are just a few examples. This has been going on since at least 2015, so most remaining hiring managers and/or recruiters know the game and go along to get along.

The first ever bottles of Coca-Cola (1890s) contained 3.5 grams of cocaine 😳
Why are people not suing?

I'm stuck on the bottom rung at my job demoted at 19 years with training/experience watching people whizz by me up the ladder with no experience because of their race gender or sexuality. You can't prove it and people like Robbie Starbuck only go after photogenic corporations.

Republicans screaming “discrimination” because a company dared to look beyond their bubble. When white men fake being Black to “prove bias,” they’re not fighting racism — they’re scared of equality.

Coke's got some fizz to explain here. If true, this is plain discrimination. Qualifications should outweigh identity politics in hiring. It's high time companies stop playing this divisive game.

There was a post once about IBM as well… I have a family friend who has been working for manpower who has assigned into IBM for two years.. he is white, smart, sweet kid… training other employees on the stuff he is doing… But he can’t get in… I wonder if it’s the same issue
These applications are reviewed by AI. The AI is DEI programmed. I mean, Coca Cola is a DEI champion!

I think the problem Libs of TikTok believes is racism may actually be agism instead of racism @HarmeetKDhillon 👆 "20 years experience" says "older person" and "more costly insurance plan" that some companies avoid. It might not be the name.

I do see their point though. You introduced another variable in the experiment when you changed experience levels. "David" might have been overqualified and likely to expect higher compensation or advancement. "DeShawn" could be a better experience match to the job level.

Welcome to the everyday experience of being Black in America. Crazy how it takes happening to a white person for you to finally understand what discrimination feels like.

This is everywhere. Every company. I am very qualified yet since 2015 I can't get hired. I either have to try and consult or start my own businesses.

Take away all federal tax benefits.

Questions about hiring policies are always interesting to discuss

“Why?” Why does Coca Cola hate white people? Who is bribing them to do this against-the-law tactic?

Companies that provably engage in discrimination shouldn’t be eligible for Federal programs like SNAP.

As a white girl named Meshawn…I thank you for your attention to this matter 😎

“ We’ve moved forward with candidates whose qualifications better align with our current needs.“ What are their current needs? Is Coca-Cola operating in compliance with federal hiring practices? There’s a lot of things wrong in this scenario but, this is far from reverse racism.
