Our participation in the Cypherpunk Launchpad, a three-month incubation for early-stage privacy tools, officially concluded last month.
With it, Canary spreads its wings for the next flight of its development journey.
A big thank-you to
@web3privacy for introducing us to mentors and supporting our first months of building with a Launchpad grant. We are honored to have been the very first project chosen for the program. ππΌ
Our mentor calls were invaluable. Building civil liberties technology brings complex design, ethical, and threat-model questions. Their guidance helped us navigate everything with more clarity.
Canary went from a true hackathon project, stitched together tech and a bold vision to a functional prototype with an extensive list of features.
Next Stop: Cypherpunk Congress, Buenos Aires.
Weβre gearing up for a very full day on November 16 at the worldβs largest gathering of privacy and human-rights builders.
Over 3,000 attendees will meet to celebrate digital freedom alongside voices like Richard Stallman,
@VitalikButerin,
@RogerDingledine, and
@evacide.
At our booth, youβll be able to use Canary, encrypt a message (powered by
@buildwithtaco) that will be released at the end of the Congress, and get a little thank you gift for spending some time with us.
This event is our chance to show Canaryβs usability in a real-world setting, gather feedback, and bring more builders, donors, and allies into the mission.
Hope to see you there π¦
