We put Apple’s controversial new ad to the test using Listen Labs. Here’s what we found:

The results were surprising:
People who didn’t own Apple products were actually slightly positive (51%) about the ad. However, it was a different story with customers.
Regular Apple users leaned slightly negative (61%), while hardcore Apple fans were extremely negative (a whopping 87%) 😡.
It wasn’t just user type - there were big differences by country too. China was the most positive (87%), while Japan was the most negative (a staggering 95% thumbs down!) 👎
The “Betrayal” Factor: People who disliked the ad felt it clashed with Apple’s core values, “Steve Jobs would never release this”. 😤
