As we near the end of 2025, 2026 will separate teams experimenting with AI from those winning with it. We’re hosting a webinar on November 7th at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET with Sweetgreen’s Brian Davia (Senior Manager, Insights Lead) to unpack the do’s and don’ts of AI in customer and market research backed by examples from Google, Microsoft, P&G, Nestlé, Levi’s, and Sweetgreen. Walk away with a prioritized checklist, guardrails for data quality and governance, and quick wins you can deploy in Q4, plus a practical plan for 2026. The Future 50 is here. 5 months ago, we asked +200 of the world’s best VCs to pick the 2 companies with the highest ceilings. The only rule: they had to be valued under $200M. After months of research, we chose the 50 we believe are best-positioned to dominate. More here:
Did you know everyone on the Listen team can ride a unicycle?
Our first salesperson has closed $1M ARR in May. Now I’m building the dream team. Here's 6 roles I'm looking for: - technical staff - csm - product design - sales - growth - ops tag someone you know & if I hire them, I'll give you $10,000.

1,000+ inbound leads since launch. Our founding AE is back to back for the rest of the year (if we don’t hire more). He hit his yearly quota in the first month. We’re hiring account executives. $10,000 referral bonus for every hire.

"To build a great company, you need to write code and talk to users." - @florian_jue (co-founder of @ListenLabs) "AI agents can now write code, so what becomes important is building the right thing and having the right feedback." "That's what we are building: telling the AI what to do, what to build, and being the tastemaker."

Next Level Customer obsession now available from @ListenLabs. @charliecurnin @sequoia and I are thrilled to partner with @itsalfredw @florian_jue and their team. Listen has already become standard practice for the strongest brands on the planet (like @Microsoft ) despite being less than 2 years old. More to come! Listen now outputs findings directly in PowerPoint. Here is how we built it: - .pptx is just a zip of XML and media files that reference each other. This can get complex, in fact, PowerPoint shapes and animations are already Turing-complete. - Microsoft has a 5,000-page XML specification, but it does not include features like changing link colors or rounded corners for images. - Existing python/npm libraries can’t even copy slides, and even Powerpoint Online has a surprisingly restricted feature set. So we had to reverse engineer PowerPoint output ourselves. More details in our technical blog post (link in comments).

We put Apple’s controversial new ad to the test using Listen Labs. Here’s what we found: What we did: 150+ AI-led interviews across 8 countries (US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, China, Japan) in just a couple of hours, generating 25 hours of recordings. Our AI then analyzed them automatically. 🤖 The results were surprising: People who didn’t own Apple products were actually slightly positive (51%) about the ad. However, it was a different story with customers. Regular Apple users leaned slightly negative (61%), while hardcore Apple fans were extremely negative (a whopping 87%) 😡. It wasn’t just user type - there were big differences by country too. China was the most positive (87%), while Japan was the most negative (a staggering 95% thumbs down!) 👎 The “Betrayal” Factor: People who disliked the ad felt it clashed with Apple’s core values, “Steve Jobs would never release this”. 😤 You can hear excerpts from the actual interviews in the video below. This is why testing creatives before launch is crucial! Listen Labs can help you avoid a potential PR disaster 😉

Welcome Erik!
Erik has joined our team as a Founding Engineer! He's a Berkeley grad and has spent 10+ years in the Bay Area. At Affirm, Erik was a Staff Software Engineer leading the risk and fraud team (the hardest part of fintech). He also spearheaded a side project that now generates over $20M+ in ARR. Most recently, Erik worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Settle. When the SVB crisis hit, he worked 24/7 for 10 days to completely rebuild Settle's compliance engine and ensure a smooth transition to a new bank (including a 3 million line code review at 1 AM). Erik is not only a speedy coder but also a fast runner (sub 3-hour marathon!) Best of all, he's an elite baker (proof attached). WELCOME ERIK!!!
