I think there is a major misconception about
$XRP. Many people compare its market cap to other tokens, company stocks, or even the entire stock market, and they completely miss what XRP actually represents. Some claim Ripple dumps tokens from escrow or that founders are selling, without understanding the purpose behind those movements.
The question you should be asking is:
- whats the market cap of the http protocol? If it had to move value instead of data
- whats the market cap of a car manufacturer compared to the value of all roads in the world facilitating mobility?
Now imagine if anytime someone opened a website it would burn a tiny bit of http protocol (if it was a thing) and there would be less of it - over time what would that mean to the network in terms of value?
XRP will be the internet of value and its positioning for years to become that.
- Ripple’s escrow functions as a liquidity reserve, not a dumping mechanism. It ensures the network always has the depth to support institutional settlements at scale. The company’s controlled releases are part of maintaining stability and funding continued development.
- The Founders and Ripple sell in order to raise funds for key investments into the xrp ecosystem growth to make everyone’s tokens more valuable over time
- Institutions and ETFs are still waiting to jump on board (legislation and approvals to be in place)
- All banks will be required to be ISO 20022 compliant by November 22, 2025 which aligns with Ripple rails
- I lost count of how many NDAs Ripple has with banks, central banks, International Monetary Fund, Governments. That we only got to know they even exist because of the SEC case
I strongly believe XRP will be the backbone of the new financial system and people will be using it directly or indirectly. They will open their banking app see the fiat they hold, transfer in and out and not realize that it is XRP who is settling those transactions in real-time on the backend.
If you invest $1,000 in
$XRP today and Im wrong, you set to lose $1,000 probably not even that much as the token is not going to zero.
If I’m right, those $1,000 will multiply many, many times over, not less than 10 times its current value in the short term and potentially 100 times or more in a couple of years if not sooner.
I am not saying to invest only in XRP, but I personally keep more than half of my allocation there. I do not know of another asymmetric opportunity that offers this kind of potential without pure speculation. Position accordingly.
