While waiting for AI to take our Jobs I completed another project based course from @traversymedia . It's a Laravel course. As you might know, the two favorite sons of PHP are WordPress and Laravel. I will advise beginners to sharpen their skills

You don't need most WordPress plugins. You now have the power to create custom PHP, JavaScript, CSS code to solve your problems. Just learn the basics of programming and how WordPress works (themes, plugins, core, templates, etc) and start cooking. For local development I use, VS Code, Local WP and Warp. I am yet to see a better combo. You got this

Well, well, well... I just integrated maps to the project. It'll display in the job details page. We're using Mapbox. Email with mailtrap is also good to go.

So, how far are we with the Workopia Laravel project? Now job listing owners can view job applications for jobs they posted directly in their dashboard. They'll then have the option to download the PDF resume or delete the applicant altogether. There's also a check to prevent a user from applying to the same job more than once. Will be creating an applicants dashboard later. There's more that can be done.

You can become a full stack developer in a week or less. The WordPress stack. Please, learn WordPress or some other CMS before, after or while learning to code.

Authorization vs Authentication vs Validation When you submit a form, three key processes often work behind the scenes: authentication, authorization, and validation. Authentication checks your identity — it ensures you are who you claim to be. For example, when you log in with your email and password, the system verifies your credentials before granting access. Authorization comes next — it determines what actions you’re allowed to perform once you’re logged in. For instance, an admin can manage users, but a regular user can’t.
