"Higher participation always yields more votes to the left" is such a mealy mouthed way of saying "US voter suppression targets Black voters." Just speak cleary. Don't dance around it. It's 2024. Everyone knows.

Voter suppression targets Black voters. This is factually correct. Black voters vote for Dem : GOP candidates at a ratio of 9:1. White voters at a ratio closer to 4:5. So suppressing white voters is not an effective strategy.

Um... Do me a favor. Filter by "Race." Select "white" for race. Then look at those exit poll by income level slices again. This is another way of saying "Very few Black people make over $100K. Because racism."

[alt text description from above post: screenshot of exit poll data for 2020 election, filtered by race, set to white, showing that white voters making under $50K and over $50K, voted for Trump at a ratio of 55% to 44%, and 60% to 39% respectively]
