I spent my entire 20s hustling like a filthy tech bro to become a big-time CTO.
…And at 29 I achieved that goal.
Today marks 2 years since I gave up and quit that job and the toxic ‘startup family’ world - realized non of that was me.
By the end, I was on anti-depressants, and had zero confidence in my skills as a dev and even as a person. I had never been more unhappy.
Since then I spent my time getting better mentally, I became a dad and the best one I know, all while getting to build cool shit like @SprintDock and meet amazing people.
My goal now is to enjoy life on my own terms… and that’s it!
Thanks to all of you weird beautiful bastards for being along the journey.
