Just paid for tabs for my car and the bill was ~$1450! Next year they are going to be almost $1800 which is absolutely insane.

I understand the high tabs fee on year 1, but years 2 and beyond they should drop precipitously along with the value of the vehicle. My tabs for years 1-3 have been over $700. Have not dropped. This is insane. Our government is corrupt
