Fun to run ucs-detect locally. Latest published results vs. latest local builds. Jumps from contour, rio, alacritty, st and zutty
I think I worked it out - adding --bytecode to the bun build command - bun.com/docs/bundler/executa…. In my testing that flag makes the binary about 72% larger
Wondering what additions that led to the big increase in binary size in Claude Code from 2.0.32 to 2.0.33? 70% larger. Could it be - 'Native binary installs now launch quicker.' /cc @_catwu @alexalbert__ @trq212

The more I use the terminal based Chawan browser, the less I appreciate blogs that can't load without all sorts of React & JavaScript fuckery. A case in point from the Hacker News front page today - shafi.ddns.net/blog/customiz…. Boo
I'm pretty good at wrangling through a Linux file system, but I cannot for the life of me fix the report of an old NPM based Claude Code. Argh github.com/anthropics/claude… github.com/anthropics/claude…
Trying to work out if referring to Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, @FactoryAI Droid, @opencode, @AmpCode as "harnesses" is going to confuse a somewhat technical, but more senior exec audience. I think it'll confuse them & am leaning towards "coding agent". Paging @simonw

Imagine being the software engineer told my management to take the real time to arrival for @lyft vehicles and divide it by 4...
100% sampling is therefore not sampling
Managed to finagle my first GTK CSS override for the Ghostty scroll bars. Ended up being pretty ready. Went with a bright blue to match foot's which had grown in me
Scrollbars for Ghostty on GTK are now also available, following macOS yesterday. These are now in tip/source releases. You can disable this with `scrollbar = never` in your config, but the default is on.

Have moved 100 feet in an hour trying to get Napa. FML
Over the weekend I noticed the cgroup initialization wasn't working on Ghostty for Linux since the move to @ziglang 0.15.1. Jumped on Discord, @mitchellh provided a tip on where to look, Claude Code had a go and fixed it and a senior maintainer @jcollie reviewed and created the PR. Nice

Has been fun using @SocketSecurity 's sfw. So far have run into problems with Fish's use of github.com/fish-shell/rust-p… and @OpenAI 's use of github.com/nornagon/ratatui. Cargo update scanning is slow but likely based on the JavaScript like dependency trees in Rust
🚨 Open source supply chain attacks are exploding. Starting today, that ends. We’re releasing Socket Firewall — FREE, zero-config, CLI that blocks malware before it lands on your laptop or CI. Just run: npm i -g sfw sfw npm install lodash Works for: npm, yarn, pnpm, pip, uv, and cargo.

Seeing issues running @FactoryAI 's new Droid CLI in terminals on Linux (Wayland). Ghostty keyboard input is very broken. Can't escape out of settings dialog in Foot or Kitty. Wondering if there is a terminal compatibility matrix. I expect testing has been primarily on MacOS?
I image the time to next release of Anthropic's Claude Code, that removes Statsig, is being measured in nanoseconds
Interesting: claude code uses statsig in their cli
Ridiculous that a zero day vulnerability patch for MacOS requires a 1.56GB download
Used Claude Code to add a pause animation button to the glTF Viewer. The JavaScript on @pierredotco is incredibly complex and I couldn't find a way to pause the animation like they do. Fun
