I’ve lived in two worlds for a while now. One filled with yoga mats, breathwork, and quiet. The other with prompts, tools, and teaching people how to use AI. This space brings both together. You’ll find posts here on: teaching GenAI, building simple tools for your business with NoCode, running workshops, hosting retreats, and slowly rebuilding a life that’s ME and keeps me close to my Joy. I’ve also got a free YouTube channel where I teach yoga and GenAI in a way that’s calm, clear, and easy to follow. You’re welcome to subscribe and learn at your own pace: piped.video/@easeintoai?si=w… #easeintoai #YogaRetreatTeacher #capeTown #beingBrave #mindfultech

Did you know that @AnthropicAI 's Claude is named after Claude Shannon, the father of the information age. 🤓 The man who gave us the foundation for the digital world we all live in. Pretty cool if you ask me :) #ClaudeShannon #Anthropic
I just watched a brilliant movie called "The Bit Player" about a man most of us don’t really know enough about, Claude Shannon He asked one simple question: "Could one set of rules explain every message?" Then he showed how to turn messages into 1’s and 0’s, the basic language computers still use today Those ones and zeros became the foundation of how machines understand us. Every text, email, photo, video, or voice note is broken down into bits, tiny yes or no choices, and then rebuilt perfectly on the other side That’s why Netflix keeps playing when the signal dips Why WhatsApp voice notes still arrive with those blue ticks Why the internet, phones, and AI even work at all Just love how Claude Shannon changed communication forever! #ClaudeShannon #InformationTheory #TheBitPlayer #EaseIntoAI
I’m such a goofy nerd, and frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn, 😆 as Clark Gable mouths off to Scarlett O’Hara in the iconic film Gone with the Wind. Data was never this cool until @akantjas from 9x started telling his stories through his sublime training courses. I’m doing his AI Builder course, module 2, and yes, you guessed it, it’s all about data and databases. This excites me to no end 🤓 because this time is unlike any other in human history. We get to talk to our data, and it understands us, whereas it once just sat there, sad, in a spreadsheet. Do yourself a favour and buy an early Christmas prezzie. 🎅 You’ll be as happy, smiley, and goofy as I feel right now. 🔗: go9x.com/ @jan_meinecke_

Think of these roles as being a Substacker within Anthropic with access to real time data, insider knowledge of what’s happening at the frontier of AI + independence to write about the topics that matter most to you. These roles are for big thinkers and domain experts, not content marketers.
The Anthropic Editorial team is hiring TWO new writers: someone to write about AI and economics/policy, and someone to write about AI and science. This is quite an important time to be thinking and writing about the effects of AI. So please apply!
In my Top 5 AI Tips I always include one that isn’t technical at all. Building your own tolerance and perspective especially now while the world feels so intense. One easy way to practice this is to ask your AI model to look at your text from another point of view. It’s such a small question and yet it helps you step outside your own thinking. If we can build our skills and our ability to see from another angle we’re already doing the real work.
This movie has so much to offer us right now. Full disclosure: I using my subjective voice to write this. Murphy's Law doesn't mean something bad will happen. It means: "Whatever can happen, will happen!" In business, we're taught to control & optimize, but maybe the work right now looks like letting things be as they are while, as we figure out what comes next. Remember, its all so new right now, so give yourself some grace 🤓 #Interstellar

LLMs are weird: Lately, ChatGPT has been calling me "my dear" or say something like "sonny" Start going through its memory, turns out it thinks I told it to "act like a grandma" when I wanted to know if my essay was clear enough "that a grandma could understand it." Weird!

Oh, People help the people La, la …. Nahh nah nah nah It seems Cherry Ghost who sings this song was stuck inside my head this morning. They are right though. Nothing is more powerful Than people Daily we talk about AI and automations, But IMO, the biggest revolution happening right now is a people one. Just yesterday I was chatting with someone Inside discord and he mentioned How helpful his community was. In fact he said to me: “Truly, I am Not sure where I’d be without this community!” We need eachother More than ever I too have been carried by people. And it still makes my eyes water. Who’s crying? 👀Not me. Okay, maybe me Seriously though Support each other Repost important messages Help someone you know probably Can’t help themselves right now Bonus: We get to override the algo & lessen the hype, when we unite as one tribe of human P.S Back to the Cherry Ghost album, do yourself a favour and download it.
Hahahahahahhahhhahhaha “I moved it to the appropriate library” 😆 I feel you. Love this!
What vibe coding is like 🥰😊
Productivity, the Italian way. Do nothing on purpose, aka, the sweetness of doing nothing. They call it “dolce far niente” Protect a small pocket of your blank time each working day. No screens. (😬 except when Mother Nature is this crazy beautiful in the early dawn) Just Let your human OS simply BE. Bonus: The work afterwards is clearer 🙌 P.S This can be done pre or post work as you watch the majesty of a sun arising or setting.

As an AI teacher, I see a lot of focus on the “how-to”, or the perfect prompt structure, or the fastest workflow etc. But personally, I feel the most critical lesson is this? (Hint: it’s the one you see in the image 🥸) "AI can make mistakes, so double-check responses!" This isn't just a tip; it's the foundation of best practice and responsible AI use. So please, always double-check your work :)

If you are pinging someone who’s busier than you, you should have a single well-thought-out specific ask. Only ask for something you truly cannot do on your own, and where you have done everything you possibly can by yourself. For example, if you’re asking someone to send an email on your behalf, you should have a draft message ready. If you’re asking them to sign something, you should prepare a docusign beforehand with the signature blocks indicated. Or if you’re asking for an appointment, you should do it at their convenience. Asking for time is like asking for capital, so be efficient with your asks.

You tap a blue dot and the whole world arranges itself around you—every skyscraper, road-usually-not-taken, and traffic jam. Google Maps made this feel normal. But capturing the infinite detail of the physical world and cramming it into a grid the size of a shirt pocket? That's an audacious, borderline delusional bet. For @mercury, I wrote about the tale of two startups who took on the world, by trying to fold it into pixels: @MapQuest and @googlemaps mercury.com/blog/on-the-map-…

Too good not to read 🥸🙌🔥 “There’s just one problem: AI can’t do our jobs.” Avoid the bubble, the hype, and companies like Amazon cutting jobs before Christmas, we can do better than that. As @emollick reminds us, just notice before you act. Thanks for the great piece, @doctorow pluralistic.net/2025/10/29/w…
