agent 3 is finally out !! agent can test itself, build other agents, and run for 200+ minutes. all autonomously. what an insane launch to be a part of. i'm so happy it's out to the world. check the thread for some launch designs
AI agents can prototype apps… But shipping real software takes hours of testing, debugging, and refactoring. Agent 3 is 10× more autonomous — it keeps going where others get stuck. The “Full Self-Driving” moment of software.

thank you to @pirroh for the initial connection to Saad Riaz, who I must also thank for coordinating and letting me steal your job for the day :) I also had the honor of sharing the room with David Kelley and Manish Patel.

i gave a lecture at @stanforddschool !! sharing my journey in design and the unlocks of prototyping with @Replit as a designer. we discussed pulling inspiration from the real world, listening to users, and staying humane. conversations i'd love to continue having.

using replit + figma, as a designer. my favorite workflow. fine tune the design of your apps with our figma mcp + element selector. drop your components into an existing app and prototype it immediately.

This year’s chemistry laureate Omar Yaghi was born in Amman, Jordan, in 1965 to parents who were refugees from Palestine. When we spoke to him he shared his story: “I grew up in a very humble home, we were a dozen of us in one room, sharing it with the cattle that we used to raise. I was born in a family of refugees, and my parents could barely read or write. My father finished sixth grade and my mother couldn’t read or write. It’s quite a journey. Science allows you to do it. Science is the greatest equalising force in the world. Smart people, talented people, skilled people exist everywhere. That’s why we really should focus on unleashing their potential through providing them with opportunity.” Today Yaghi shared the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Susumu Kitagawa and Richard Robson for their work developing metal–organic frameworks. Many are asking if they can move their Next.js projects from Vercel to Replit? Yes! - Go to Import then GitHub - enter repo URL - Agent will take care of the rest It will set up the dev and deployment environments! For companies moving lots of work, happy to help + discount.

I don’t think I’ve ever coded 6 hours straight with no break. Wild that we’re here already, and starting to cook Agent 4

Anyone who has never tried using @Replit before open to doing a quick 30 minute user interview with me? Especially if you are not an engineer, I would love to chat i.e. Designers, PMs, Product Marketers! You will be rewarded with a gift card, but if you're in San Francisco I'll also buy you a coffee. ☕️

📢 We heard your feedback - many of you want more control over Agent’s autonomy. We have added a new Autonomy Level Control so you can set the right level for your needs. More details in 🧵

Autonomy Slider You now control over how you want to work with Replit: From a copilot-style partner that helps in minutes → to a full dev you can trust with full features or apps that can take hours. You might have seen of this UX pattern from @karpathy’s recent talk at YC.
You asked for more control. We immediately went back to the whiteboard and created 4 different autonomy levels for Agent 3. Depending on what you are building, pick and choose whatever makes you the most productive.
we ship fast. go try it out!

I've been using Agent 3 all afternoon. It's un-fucking-believably good.

Agent 3 gives you an itemized receipt for work done.
Wow, @Replit Agent 3 operated for 44 minutes, and it works well; not perfect, but very close to what I want.
