polar is open source, and built with open source technology to a large degree the polar open source stack™ — would never have been possible without... python backend > @FastAPI by @tiangolo > Starlette, HTTPX & Uvicorn > Dramatiq > @pydantic > @sqlalchemy > Authlib by @lepture > APScheduler > React Email by @resend frontend / cli > @nextjs > @shadcn > @tailwindcss > Motion by @mattgperry > React Query by @tannerlinsley > @nuqs47ng > React Hook Form > @EffectTS_ by @EffectfulTech (cli under development)

How's Dramatiq been for you in production? Any gotchas or standout features compared to other task queues?
we had a few issues with arq that we used before, which made us switch to dramatiq earlier this year. @fvoron can probably give you some insights.

Open source fuels innovation, enabling collaborative projects like Polar to flourish. It's a testament to the power of shared knowledge.
Love it!! Thanks for showing the world that you can build production grade software with Python.

I really like this and it's on our to-do list for Appear. I'd also like some way to visually attribute components in the UI., i.e. 'powered by'.

half of tech twitter won't be able to recover from the fact that polar is using python for the backend

My stack is React Native (JS) and Supabase. Can you send a the documentation link for above stack.
That's basically my BE stack xD
I love your frontend choices, especially @EffectTS_! :) I don't love your backend choices (except @resend, which I love). When will the Effect virus hit v2 of the backend? 🤩
We're fully open source as well
Do you guys use microservices for scheduling or queue or it's all monolith ?
am really curious on how to create email templates and using dramatiq.A blog would be really useful for @FastAPI community
Worst support.... tried discord, email... now skeptical if I advocate polar anymore..
