We have an official release date! December 11th (UTC -7) will be the day to upgrade to the new Pop!_OS.

Pop!_OS 24.04 LTS and COSMIC Epoch 1 will be release December 11th, 2025. Future Pop!_OS releases, starting with Pop!_OS 26.04 LTS, will now align with the Ubuntu LTS release timing (approximately two weeks after the Ubuntu release date).

I promised myself I'd install Pop!_ with COSMIC the day the stable version is released. I thought it would be in 2026, but if it arrives sooner, even better. Until December 11th, I hope it doesn't fail or that there aren't any issues postponements Let's do this...👍😅

Sounds good my personal story has been bad. Most will have dual boot. And will have issues oR only that os. Let see if I can build another PC just for that

I'm afraid I might have Hitler particles. Some open source devs seem to be able to see them and since i don't, I'm worried pop os might not work on my hardware.
