Thanks to everyone for your kind (and unkind) messages about Court. It was my pleasure leading an all-junior counsel team instructed by an all-female attorney team. What made it even more special to me - 7 years to the day I got my Red Bag (which I got in my 1st year)!
Hhayi, no. Should have stayed off.

Considering im responding to the low bar set by you, can you blame me?

I see you’re leading by example, because this reply has no content at all.

In the Russian Empire, discrimination against my ethnic group was law, only repealed by the 1917 February Revolution. Again, I am a different person.

Oop.
Is this how one should behave on Twitter?

Noone asked you to feel guilty about anything. But your defensive position betraying your lack of understanding shows just how fucked you are that I cant even invite you to do that.
Sorry, but I only have one life to live...and I'm not going to spend it feeling guilty about history. Get fucked

In the name of solving these problems I encourage black people to return to their ancestral homelands to heal
Say less. That you see yourself needing to be convinced of historical redress for racial injustice tells me all I need to know!

The issue isn’t lack of understanding. The issue is why we should care. What’s the trade? What do we get out of going along with your ideology? Or is it just a list of demands? If so, no thanks.

That's good for you. Your Russian ancestor example isnt opposite however as on your version they weren't legislated into being less equal than others and that's what Im referring to. So thanks.

Generational trauma is not real. During the Russian famine of 1921-1922, my great-grandfather starved to death, and my grandmother almost did. I am a different person. I do not carry this trauma.

That you see redress as extra privileges to right centuries of legislative extra privileges for others tells me all I need to know.
A fair and free society cannot give extra privileges to some people and not others on the basis of “generational trauma.” You have to be able to say, “even if this is true, the solution you demand is incompatible with our system of government.”

How pathetic must you be to retweet your own tweets? Even more so when it shows your ignorance on full display for all to see? I envy some people's lack of self-awareness. It's like they dont know they're owning up to their own idiocy. Never mind defamation 😅

This song, this moment…🥺hhhmmm it evokes emotions I never knew I had for my country, its struggles and its people. Thank you @Enghumbhini
Understandably!
I watched this funeral live on TV, and it was so painful. Everyone in the house was crying, especially at this part.

couldn’t have said it better 🎯 in fact i’d even argue that most flat out refuse to even try to understand
🤗
I was still young but I remember the quietness in our village, everyone clued to their TV screens watching his funeral. This was a sad moment 😢
